Marc was also Senior Vice President, Leadership Development for Bank of America. He previously served as a political consultant and a staff assistant to a United States Congressman.
In addition to co-authoring One Page Talent Management: Eliminating Complexity, Adding Value (Harvard Business Press, 2010). He also co-authored Leading the Way, co-edited Human Resources in the 21st Century and has written chapters in eight management and leadership books.
Marc is a sought after speaker on talent management and leadership topics by both corporations and conferences. He is widely quoted on talent issues in the business media and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Influencers in HR. He earned a M.B.A. from the Yale University School of Management and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington.
In 2007, Marc founded the New Talent Management Network, a non-profit HR networking and research organization that is now the world's largest talent management organization with more than 2,500 members.

Miriam Ort has held leadership positions in talent management and human resources in the HR organizations of Fortune 500 companies. She is a frequent contributor to publications on leadership and talent management, and has spoken on the topic for industry groups such as The Conference Board, International Consortium for Executive Development Resources (ICEDR), and Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
Miriam is the co-author of the bestselling book, One Page Talent Management: Eliminating Complexity, Adding Value from Harvard Business Press. She also co-authored multiple book chapters on leadership, and has been a featured expert and blog contributor for Harvard Business Review online.
Miriam is currently Director, Human Resources at PepsiCo. In this role, she leads the HR team for the Global Procurement organization and has been a key driver of its transformation to an integrated, global sourcing function. Since joining PepsiCo in 2008, she has led a number of pivotal organizational initiatives, including the harmonization of people practices and HR tools for PepsiCo Beverages Americas’ nearly 20,000 employees. Prior to PepsiCo, she served as head of Talent Management for Avon Products, North America, with responsibility for performance management, leadership development, and talent planning across the business.
